【京急第一代1000系，後期型（中央空調車廂）翻新後】


●鼎盛時期，第一代1000系列車佔京急車隊總數的一半以上。

●系列列車共356節車廂，開創了京急鐵路的時代。

●列車可以兩節車廂編組運行，也曾以私營鐵路最長的12節車廂編組運行。

●1000系列車大致可分為早期型（未配備空調）及後期型（自建成日起即配備中央空調）。後期型在1988年後進行了一系列改造，例如拆除了車頂通風口，並將目的地顯示器改為黑色。
