●Resa 5000系列冷藏車用於運輸鮮魚，1968年共生產了28輛。這些車輛駐紮在白內站、盛岡站，往返八戶站、鮫站等地，開往東京市場和橫濱市場。

●該車型於1984年停產。使用的機車包括雙機牽引的ED75型、EF65-1000系列和EF15型。基本的七節編組有時會加掛車廂，後期則以十一節編組運行。

●列車尾部還掛有一節守車（例如Yo 5000型）。
