●我們正在更新211系列，它是從JNR時代末期到JR初期出現的代表性的城郊不銹鋼列車。

●211系列是直流城郊列車，是為了取代日益過時的111系列和113系列並增加運輸能力而引入的。

●這輛創新車輛徹底革新了當時城郊列車的乘坐體驗，將不銹鋼車身與FRP前端相結合，外觀更加精緻，並採用舒適的桶形座椅等，同時還提高了服務質量，使其成為JNR向JR過渡時期的象徵。

●它以10節或15節車廂編組運營，基本編組為10節車廂，包括2節綠色車廂和5節車廂的附加編組。
