~ 東營交通局於1977年引進了升級版的7000系列列車，為荒川線單人運營的轉變做準備。

~ 最初的7000系列列車於1954年投入使用，但為了適應單人營運的轉變，更換了新的車體。

~ 自1986年起，這些列車安裝了空調，車身塗裝也進行了更換，集電弓也換成了受電弓。

~ 2002年又進行了一次升級，外觀改為LED目的地顯示屏，但這些列車於2017年退役。

~ 目前，部分列車經過大規模翻新，仍作為7700系列列車使用，而其他列車則已轉讓給其他公司，仍在使用中。
