~ 西日本鐵道的600系列車於1962年開始為大牟田線（現為天神大牟田線）生產。

~ 這些列車於1990年開始在宮地岳線（現為貝塚線的一部分）運營，並進行了改裝和改造，包括安裝窄軌轉向架，並將車身顏色改為黃色帶紅色條紋。

~ 西鐵貝塚線將於2024年5月迎來100週年，為紀念這一時刻，606號和656號車廂被選定為裝飾列車。

~ 裝飾設計由Pantobisco公司設計，該公司還設計了西鐵官方吉祥物「Gatanko」和「Gotonko」。

~ 設計將西鐵貝塚線全部10個車站的名稱列在側窗下方，並將「Gatanko」和「Gotonko」以動態的方式貫穿整個表面，營造出極具衝擊力的設計。
