~ 227系列0型是專為廣島地區開發的新型直流電力列車。該列車由JR西日本運營，於2015年開始運營。其暱稱“紅翼”，源於其前部安全罩形似伸展的機翼，以及其在公共交通中發揮的重要作用。

~ 該列車主要運行於廣島地區的山陽線、吳線和可部線。目前，共有63輛三節編組列車和42輛兩節編組列車投入運營，在廣島城市交通網絡中發揮重要作用。
