●キハ20系はキハ10系の車体を大型化して1957年に登場した国鉄の一般形ディーゼルカーです

●多くの設計変更を経ながら、1966年までに系列としては1126両が製造され、日本各地で幅広く活躍しました

●キハ20形はキハ20系列における両運転台の車両、キハ25形は片運転台の車両で、200番代では2段サッシの側面窓へと変更されました
