~ 227系0系列列車是專為廣島地區開發的新型列車，由JR西日本運營，採用直流電力驅動，於2015年開始運營。

~ 其暱稱「紅翼」源自於列車前部的防墜落護欄形似展開的雙翼，象徵著它如同翅膀般支撐著公共交通。

~ 該列車主要運行於廣島地區的山陽線、吳線和河部線。

~ 目前，共有63列三節編組的列車和42列兩節編組的列車投入運營，在廣島市交通網絡中發揮著至關重要的作用。
